AzAEYC advocates for and promotes the well-being of all Arizona’s young children and families by improving the quality of early care and education for every child and providing and supporting high quality professional development opportunities and resources for early childhood professionals.

AzAEYC has established the
Rhian Evans Allvin and Joshua J. Allen Scholarships to provide financial assistance to one female and one male student attending an Arizona public university or college and majoring in early childhood education, or a closely related field, with an interest in policy studies or advocating for children and families. These scholarships were created to acknowledge the outstanding service of two individuals who have demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment public policies that support the well-being of young children.

These scholarships are awarded each year at the AzAEYC Annual Membership Meeting in the Fall. Scholarship applications for 2016 will open in June  2016.
