Building Leaders from the Start:
A Systems Approach to Developing Young Minds 

 

Please join us as we explore a systems approach to the widely acclaimed Mind in the Making - The Seven Essential Skills Every Child Needs, with author Ellen Galinsky delivering the morning keynote address.

Tracy Benson and Sheri Marlin, international experts in Systems Thinking, will lead interactive large group activities prior to Ellen Galinsky's presentation and in the afternoon. Conference attendees will be able to:
 
1) make connections between the 7 essential skills in Mind in the Making and the principles of developmentally appropriate practice; and
 
2) gain an understanding of how the 7 essential skills and DAP could become the foundation for a new early childhood education and professional development systems in Arizona.
